A Buying Lead is an online invitation to suppliers to send you a Quotation. To send a Buying Lead:
Sign-in at My SYOB, click "Trade Leads" and then click "Post a new trade lead".
In the Trade Lead Type drop-down menu, select Buy.
Fill in the Buying Lead form with all essential information including your desired product, price and amount.
We suggest you attach a photo of your desired product. Click "Submit" when finished.
Trade Lead Type: Choose trade lead type you want to post. If you're selling a product, choose "Sell" or choose "Buy" if you're posting your buying requirements.
Subject: A striking and concise subject will enhance your chances of being searched. Please do not add price and insignificant adjectives, such as "high quality" or "beautiful," or list many products.
Keywords: A keyword is the most efficient and direct way for other users to find your information. Please fill in each blank with one word or phrase, like the product's name and so forth.
Category: Try to select the most relevant category. If possible, do not select "other." Almost one third of buyers look for products by category. A precise category listing will enhance your chances of being found easily.
Details: The first sentence is quite important. So it is a good idea to generalize your product or service first. Provide detailed information, like material, size, performance, place of origin and certification to attract your potential business partners. To avoid spam and ensure safe trading, please do not put your email, company address and telephone and fax numbers here.
Quantity & Packaging: Provide quantity and packaging information to show that you are serious.
After completing the Buying Lead form, you will receive a message on your Manage Buying Lead page, telling you that your Buying Lead has been submitted and is pending approval.
If your Buying Lead is not approved (i.e., it requires you to submit more information) the "Editing Required" status will be shown on your My SYOB homepage and on your Manage Buying Leads page, and an email will be sent to you informing you that your Buying Lead requires editing. If your information is approved, it will be published on SYOBnow.com within 24 hours.
Please note: This approval process applies to all postings to SYONnow.com, including Company Profile, Products, Buying Leads and Selling Leads.
